originally ruled from her place of power on Ta-Netjer. The local population, the Netjerians, were anthropomorphic beings who worshiped Hathor as a god with even more devotion than that seen in other races.

Left her palace of power to form an alliance with RA.  This alliance cost her not only her devoted subjects, the Netjerians, but a lot of her independence and freedom.

Hathor was known to control both her enemies and friends through use of the pleasure principle; which meant that she gave people what they wanted, within reason, so that they would follow her anywhere

Uses the Nish'ta, a biological compound delivered in a gaseous state and is absorbed through the bodies tissues.   Gou'ald used this as a form of mind control but if the subject is delivered an electrical shock this compound breaks down and the subject is free.

Died after being thrown into a cryogenic tank.
